For Attorneys Admitted to NDFL prior to November 23, 2015

A. Ensure that you have an upgraded PACER account

  1. If you do not have a PACER account, you must register for a PACER account
  2. If you have a legacy PACER account (issued prior to August 11, 2014), you must upgrade your PACER account. To upgrade your PACER account follow these instructions.
  3. If you have an upgraded PACER account, proceed with linking your PACER account to your CM/ECF account, by following the appropriate procedures in Section B below.

B. After the Court converts to NextGen on November 23, 2015, you MUST link your upgraded PACER account to CM/ECF.

  1. All non-CJA attorneys will link their upgraded PACER account to their CM/ECF account using these instructions.
  2. CJA Attorneys with upgraded PACER accounts, please follow these instructions to ensure that your account receives the proper exemption status.
  3. CJA Attorneys without PACER accounts, please follow these instructions to be able to receive the proper exemption status.

For Attorneys seeking new admission to NDFL

C. Obtain a new PACER account or upgrade an existing PACER account

  1. If you do not have a PACER account, you must register for a PACER account.
  2. If you have a legacy PACER account (issued prior to August 11, 2014), you must upgrade your PACER account. To upgrade your PACER account follow these instructions.
  3. If you have an upgraded PACER account, proceed with the appropriate attorney admission process under Section D below.

D. Complete Attorney Admission Information (Do NOT attempt these instruction until you have an upgraded PACER account)

  1. Members of the Florida Bar
  2. Pro Hac Vice
