Directions

From I-75 North or South: Leave I-75 at exit 387 (FL State Rd 26). Take SR 26(Newberry Road/W. University Avenue) east approx. 6.5 miles. Traveling East on University Avenue, turn right on SE 3rd Street. Proceed one block. Turn left on SE 1st Avenue. The Federal Building is on the right.

Parking

Although parking spaces are available directly in front of the courthouse, parking is limited to 30 minutes, and is enforced. Expenses associated with vehicle towing and the issuance of tickets for illegal parking will not be reimbursed by the court.

Parking is available in the Gainesville Downtown Parking garage at 220 SE 2nd Ave. Traveling east on University Ave. turn right on SE 1st St. Proceed two blocks, turn right at SE 2nd Ave. The entrance to the parking garage is on the right.

Note to Jurors: At the entrance to the garage, a sign is posted that says "NO JURORS." IGNORE the sign as it pertains to state court jurors only. You may take your parking ticket to the clerk for validation.
