Accessibility

In compliance with Judicial Conference policy, the District Court for the Northern District of Florida will provide reasonable accommodations to participants in federal judicial proceedings who are deaf, hearing impaired, or have communications disabilities. Reasonable accommodations include providing a sign language interpreter or other auxiliary aid to those individuals who are participants in the case, including, parties, attorneys, witnesses, and jurors who are deemed legally qualified to serve by the court.

Individuals seeking assistance should contact the court’s Access Coordinator as soon as possible in advance of the scheduled court proceeding, or upon notification, so that appropriate accommodations can be arranged.

The court’s Access Coordinator is the Administrative Assistant to the Clerk of Court, who can be reached at (850) 470-8184. Requests should include the case number (if applicable), judge before whom the proceeding is to take place (if applicable), time/date of the proceeding, and a description of the requested accommodation.

All courthouse locations within the Northern District of Florida have ramps at their main entrance and elevators available for use.
