Court Operations Under The Exigent Circumstances Created By Covid-19 (Issued 03/08/22)

On July 29, 2021, the undersigned entered an Administrative Order requiring every person age four or over to wear a mask when entering and while occupying any public area within the United States courthouses in the Northern District of Florida. In light of the current COVID-19 situation, the July 29, 2021, Administrative Order (Doc. 388) is VACATED. Masks are no longer required to be worn by visitors or employees in Northern District of Florida courthouses. However, the presiding judge retains discretion to require masks in a court proceeding, and anyone who wishes to wear a mask in a courthouse may continue to do so.
