This is a notice of an opportunity to provide pro bono representation in a case ready to be set for bench trial. The case is Oliver v. Gafford, et al., Case No. 5:15cv153-MW-GRJ. Plaintiff, an inmate in the Florida Department of Corrections, currently incarcerated at Tomoka Correctional Institution, seeks relief under 42 U.S.C. § 1983 against five corrections officers as a result of an allegedly unconstitutional use of force during his incarceration at Northwest Florida Reception Center. Plaintiff alleges that Defendants physically assaulted him and used chemical agents on him. Plaintiff, however, is entitled to nominal damages only on his claims against Defendants.
